Well it's been 4 ever since I checked or been on this site... sorry! But I've been soo addicted to some things on myspace, not to mention school stuff, home stuff and new to my life.... A Business!!! Yeah... I'm soo excited!! My friend Leanne and I decided to start up a small business... LC's Cakes and Crafts!! So if anyone would like a crafted item.. like a scrapbook, knotting's or ect, OR cakes... we would LOVE to have your business!! Well yesterday started off as a GREAT day! I got to sleep in an extra hour, then relaxed in front of my T.V. and watched some of my recordings that I've been neglecting over the past few weeks. Afterwords, JD and the kidos woke up and gave me a very sweet Happy Birthday.. it really sucked that JD had to leave and go to work!! I also received many happy phone calls wishing me a very happy birthday, but of course there had to be something that wasn't wanted! My mom shocked me with a Bday call... if you know our relationship you may know how that made me feel... and of course she HAD to bring upsetting news with her!! My grandfather (Weir) has been in and out of the hospital for about 3 years now. He has had a number of stokes along with other health issues. Yesterday morning he was taken in to Union Hospitals ER, then moved to the first floor were he was put on a ventilator. Now having conjunctive heart failure and ammonia the doctors say their going to give him 48 hours to re coop, and then their going to take him off the machines to "see how he'll do". I mean I know he's in pain because while I was there to visit him, he kept jerking... and squeezing our hands when we asked him if he was in pain. His doctor wanted to make him comfortable but then again he couldn't allow to much morphine due to his breathing. As if the family wasn't going through enough... some of my lovely family members were complete asses. I mean who the hell do they think they are? One of my cousins... one in which I was very close to growing up... just moved out in my area, and for some reason she thought that she was entitled to be an absolute bitch. I mean it may sound that it really bothered me, but it didn't... with everything that's happened this year alone I've really stepped back and re evaluated the people in my life. And yes she and some of the others are family, but not really... family to me is someone who cares for you know matter how your living your life. So I don't go out and party on the weekends, I don't let my kids go with whom ever just so I can drink and act stupid... so what, in my eyes that doesn't mean I have a boring life. I love being with my family and that's why I can't get along with half of the people I used to!
Sorry... kinda hit a small nerve there!

Any ways... I know my grandpas going to be in a better place soon, whether it's here with us or upstairs with the big guy... at least he wouldn't be in anymore pain!

As for my Bday... other then my grandfather, it was a pretty nice day. My wonderful in-laws had a party for me and I got a lot of cool stuff not to mention all my wonderful friends that wished me a Happy Birthday!
FYI... For my Bday, JD and my kidos are going to take me out to eat and then bowling.. not sure when yet due to my grandfather's condition, but we would love it if you could go out and celebrate with us! Call or message me for details.

Boy, oh boy, do I hate the winter months! I feel as though I'm 60!! For the past three days I have had a horrible headache, pain in EVERY joint known in the human body, back pain, and not to mention a sore throat. WINTER SUCKS!!!
Right now it's not as bad... but it would be a 100% better if someone would just cut my head off.... lol! Well that's all I wanted to say... I figured if I complained about it... maybe.... just maybe, it'll just go away!
I know, I know... fat chance... LOL!!

End of Fall Cookout!

Our Halloween Party!!

I love Parties!!!
Yesterday was the kidos Halloween party... we had so much fun!! The adults even got in on the fun games!! We played Egg Toss, Pop their Balloon, Scavenger Hunt, Find the Worms... which was the most fun if you ask me!! Each person had a plate of worms covered in whipped cream, the first one to find all their worms.. won! Let's just say it lead to an all out blast of fun! Everyone was COVERED in whipped cream.... soo fun!! But FYI... cold weather+whipped cream smeared all over your face and hair= a very NASTY feeling!!! Let's just say my hair was VERY pose able... ewww!! I will say that both my brother-in-laws didn't get covered... so of course I had to get at least one of them in on the action... sorry Bob!
We had a blast!!!

BOO!!
It's Halloween time!!! This year is going to be soo much fun... I mean the past 5 years were great too, but this year is different for a number of reasons!! The kids have been looking forward to this for soo long. I mean it is a KIDS holiday after all! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that adults can't have fun too! I guess my family time means more to me then going out and being a kid myself, but that's just me!! I was planning a Halloween Party this year..(a family party... games, contest and the whole bit), but with every thing going on, let's just say some things are more important right now! But next year is going to be a different story, especially since I already have everything!

I have had the worse time with this blog site... well not the worse ( I give that to Steph.. lol), but I have been trying to transfer all my passwords along with other stuff to my other computer and I couldn't remember my info for my blog!!! Soo annoying!! But I did find the first blog site that I had... so weird!

Hello there!! Well I haven't blogged in awhile and since I had a few extra moments I thought it would be a good time!!
School....
Well Fall semester started up and it's going on the 3rd week and even though I was absolutely terrified of going back to a class room environment, it's really been nice! I get a chance to meet new people, learn new techniques, and not to leave out that I get a little scheduled retreat time.. LOL!! J/K... well kinda! All of my other classes are also going well... but I don't want to jinks myself because there's still a ways to go until the semesters over!
Gracie's 1st Sleepover....
The sleep over went great!! We had a lot of fun! We didn't get time to have a fashion show but the girls played, made their own body glitter, watched movies, and had a pillow fight! I felt like I was a kid again... lol! I can't wait to do it again, but maybe next time we can get more girls and maybe even their momma's in on it!
Riley Trip....
Well we didn't need to go... we started her back up on the medicine and she's been doing good, but she will do better as soon as she stops being so gosh darn pickie with her food and start eating more fiber related foods!!!
Well that's all that I can think of that's been going on here the past month or so!

Well let me just say that I LOVE my in-laws!!!
Thursday was the last time I was able to use my computer, soo no computer Firday, Saturday, or Sunday! My lovely brother-in-law came over and tried to fix it once again.. ( since that's what he does) and low and behold it worked!!!
Until.... the scan was finished and then it shutdown once again!! But now it's Tuesday and YES it's up and running yet again!
BUT.... if you know me or read my blog, then you know that I started my classes Monday and I have 4... yes 4 online classes and no computer!!
BUT... once again my in-laws came to the rescue!!! My lovely father-in-law said that since he doesn't use his computer I can use it until I get my new one.... man do I love my in-laws!!!
Soo... that has been my first few days of the new semester! I go to my campus class tomorrow night... first time going to a class room in 6 years... :o( soo nervous!!

Sleepover...

Well tonight is going to be Gracie's very FIRST ACTUAL sleepover!! I mean she's slept over at families houses before but tonight her BESTEST friend, Karlie is coming over to stay!!
She is soo excited.. we've got soo much planned! For starters... were going to (lightly put) make-up on, glam up their hair and then have a fashion show. And of course there will be a photographer on hand to document the evening! I mean you people know me... when do I not take pictures!!!
I'm sure AJ will want to be in with the gals but then again he might prefer to sit next to his daddy and watch Ben10 with a bowl of hot popcorn sitting on his lap!!
But if not that's ok.. the cat walk can be shared and made room for Scooby, Cookie Monster or whatever my handsome little man wants to dress in!!!
I will post photos... well that is if I can figure it out... LOL!!!

My not so little girl....

Well as some of you may know, my sweet little girl isn't that little anymore. She's turning 5 tomorrow and yeah that may not sound that old, but it is to me! Last night after dinner Gracie and myself sat around the table getting things ready for her Birthday party on Saturday. She was helping me paper-mache the microphones we needed. I gave her instructions what to do and she followed them perfectly... she was actually going faster then me soo needless to say I had some catching up to do!! LOL!!
And it just really hit me... I no longer have to do things for her!
She picked her party theme, she wanted to help me find games to play at her party, she wants to go and help me get the party decor.... she just blows me away about how much she's growing!! The sad thing is that she wants to go to school this year soo bad but has to wait until next fall since her birth date fell 14 days PAST the deadline!!! Can you believe that! But that's okay, that just gives us more time to get her ready for next year!!
It's just soo weird, 5 years ago all I had to worry about was myself and one night that all changed. She really has changed my life and I couldn't of been happier!!

6 Years!!

As most of you know JD and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary yesterday! It was a very nice and relaxing anniversary.
Saturday evening we had a small get together with a few friends and played poker and just hung out. Honestly I was hoping for a little more excitement but everyone's getting so old!!!!
Sunday, we spent most of the day together, (minus the fact that a friend of mine was having a bridal shower) but all in all it was probably one of the greatest we've celebrated so far! To start off... all house hold chores were done so that was GREAT to not have to take the day doing that!! We went for a family walk! Not to mention... JD made my favorite meal for dinner and he also cleaned up afterwards!!! He's such a great man... how did I get so lucky!!
Maybe next year we'll have a big shindig but this year was perfect!!

I tell ya what... I have completely lost my mind!!! (and yes, I do that ALOT)
Saturday I registered for my fall classes. JD had to work so I had to take our kidos along for the ride, and you know they were the best kids you could of asked for... think goodness! And just for the record... I wanted to just take a FEW classes but then when I got back home I received an awarded grant soo... well... let me just say I decided to add a few more classes to become a full time student again!! You would think I'm wanting to be punished!!!
Soo now I'm taking 4 classes online and 1 class on campus!
Sorry girls... I might not be much fun this fall!!! But I'm always still willing to give it a shot... LOL!! Hopefully I won't fail any...

Well I can gladly say that we fixed that annoying plumbing problem we had a few weeks ago. I was SOO happy I was on a CLEANING SPREE!!
Laundry...... CHECK

Dishes....... CHECK
Everything Else...... CHECK!!!!!!
If you couldn't tell, I was SOOO happy to have my washer back!!

Well it's not yet August but it might as well be! August is usually a busy month for us and every year it seems to get busier!!
For starters, were going to Indy on Friday, like I said in a earlier posting! My youngest niece is celebrating her 1st birthday party on Saturday the 2nd, my husband and I's 6 year wedding anniversary on the 10th, planning my daughter's 5th birthday.... GO Hannah Montana!!!! Not to mention that school starts back up for me on the 25th! CRAZY MONTH OF AUGUST!!!!
Were did the summer go!?!? It felt like it was just the beginning of summer a few weeks ago.... well to me, but I think I'm casually losing it anyways... go figure!!!

Well ever since our daughter was 9 months old she had a problem going to the bathroom. The doctors said that they believed that she developed a memory that when she went and it hurt her... that every time she would go it would hurt! But with her starting school next year I just don't want her uncomfortable the whole time or getting made fun of!
So my husband and I decided to set up an appointment with an GI at Riley's Children's Hospital. I'm really scared for her, I mean we won't know what they need to do to her until we get there. It's the worse feeling when your child looks at you like your letting someone hurt them on purpose!! Let me just say August 1st is going to be a very long day!!!

Well it happened.... my baby boy is now 3 and no longer thinks he needs his mommy to do everything for him.... :(
All I hear any more is... "I do it myself"... "I can do it".... I mean it's soo sad and he's my last child so I won't be going though these years again. But one thing he can't do without me is clean he's room... and I'm sure he'll always need me for that!!!

Most people say that they hate and that they just don't get along with their in-laws, but I can gladly say that my in-laws are the greatest! They see and spend time with my children which is a huge step up from my family, they call just to say hi and how ya doing. Over all, to me, their the prefect American family!! I may be byes but I can really count on them... and by the way isn't it suppose to be the other way around! Who knows... my mother-in-law is more like my mom then my own mother!
Their fun loving and not to mention DRAMA FREE... who needs drama when you've got TV! And yes at times they drive my nuts, but in the end their just human!
I have often joked that my in-laws were like the Brady's and mine were more of the Roseann family!! LOL..... that's ok, who doesn't love the Brady's!!

Well like I said before, I am married to my best friend for almost a lovely 6 years coming in August! And true, sometimes I would LOVE to ring his neck but all in all he's ONE of the best things that has ever happened to me! With having a crazy family like I do, he really steps up to help me through the tough times. He doesn't have to do much to make me laugh or smile.... that was one of the reasons I fell for him. He's a great father to our 2 children, he's never too busy for them. He's just an all around great guy!!!
I am soo lucky and glad that he choose to make a life with me!!

Friends...

Friends to me are like family and even though you don't have the chance to see or talk every day, doesn't mean that you don't care for them! A perfect world for me would be that all my friends and I lived close enough together to simply walk to one another's home, especially with gas as high as it is, but that's not going to happen!
I really miss hanging out with them! I feel like I'm not there for them like I should be. When I was in high school I can remember people telling me that once you graduate and move on with your life, you lose contact with your once good friends. I never thought that that would happen with us. Even though I haven't lose contact with my closest of friends from those times, it feels that were actually making them stronger. I really appreciate and value my friendships!
Over the past few months I have been quietly reviewing my friendships and found myself asking the same question over and over again.... I'm glad to say that I know what friendships are worth keeping and those that are worth letting go! A special thanks to Stephy, Leanne, and Patty.... even through our bad times (as few as they were), you guy's have NEVER left my side! You guy's are the truest of friends a girl could ever have!

CrAZy!!??!

Hello!! It's been a crazy week so far... let me tell you how so!
For starters, my plumbing in my house SUCKS!! We have a very nasty clog that will NOT go AWAY! Which makes me behind on my laundry... so I decided to pack up my children and my laundry and go to the Laundry Mat.... LOADS of fun, let me tell ya!!!! At least my children were good.... I'm not really sure, but I may have got my kidos mixed up with someone else's!!??! Did anyone go home with 2 abnormally energetically children?
Second, I'm trying to get things ready for my son's 3rd birthday and if you know me I tend to wait until the week of the party to do most of it and then sometimes panic! One of the games that were going to play involves me making bone shapes out of foam board. While cutting out those bones... yes you guessed it, I cut myself like at least 6 or 7 times. I really shouldn't be aloud to work with shape objects!!
Third, I still have to get the rest of my nephews present before his "surprise party" this weekend!
Finally, Last night I found out that my dad was taken to the hospital. And of course again if you know my family, you know where my dad is right now! After worrying awhile I found out that the doctors think that he might of had a light stoke! He's only 44!!

I guess I've had crazier weeks but this one just seemed.. well.... CrAZy!!!!!

For those who don't know me, I have a very strange family! My dad has had many problems with bad habits and well my mom and I have really never got along. I have two brothers that at first I thought was going to be put in prison or dead before they ever got a chance to really live their life, but actually my youngest brother is now a father and has really turned himself around and you can really see that he's trying. My other brother is also doing better for himself but is still battling some issues.
Anyways... my mom and I had VERY recently had yet another out burst. She is the type of person that LOVES drama and I just can't take it any more! It's hard to say but I wish she would just forget that she has daughter!
She takes the littles things and makes them into the biggest things possible! I mean am I being to hard on her or what? She talks about ending her life every time something isn't going her way. And she's upset that I won't let her take my children anywhere yet alone over night somewhere! I mean it kills me because she's my mom but on the other hand this is the kind of stuff that I have dealt with my whole life!
